How I organise my rulers and templates

The problem that I am trying to solve

Over the years, I have acquired a lot of different sized rulers and templates

I like to have my rulers:

  • Well organised
  • Visible
  • Easily accessible

My solution

I use a variety of ‘ruler racks’ and stands to store my rulers:

This is a custom made ruler rack. This cherished gift was made for me by my sister's father-in-law
This 'ruler rack' is a mail or envelope rack that I purchased from a stationery supplies store
This 'ruler rack' is a dish rack that I purchased from a kitchen supplies shop

My preferred features

I like to have the following features in my ruler racks:

  • Allows me to store a variety of shapes and sizes
  • The groove is deep enough to hold my rulers and templates upright
  • The base is stable and will remain upright once it is filled with rulers and templates
